When To Hold A Garage Sale

When deciding 'what date' to hold your garage sale, consider the following

• You have to be available on the date (not working, on holiday etc)


• Best time of the year, weather wise.


• Best time of the year, financially.


• Avoid public holidays and long weekends (when people go away).


• Announce a 'if it rains' message.  ie Sale on rain hail or shine!


• Consider asking neighbours to have a joint sale (more the merrier)
